If you are a fan of the original Ultima series, then Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar will be right down your alley. This mobile game has been created for Apple devices, and offers fast-paced hack and slash action in an isometric role-playing world. If you are sick of being chained to your desk while playing your role playing games you can finally break away and enjoy your games wherever you go with Ultima Forever.

The developers of the game promise that there are hundreds of hours of quests to go through in the open-world environment. These quests are tied together in an immersive storyline that changes as you go. While playing the game you have the option to play with some of your friends in Co-Op mode, or you can play all on your own through the single-player version of the game. The game is completely free to play and is filled with enough content to keep most gamers busy for a very long time.
It features several different classes that you can choose to adventure with throughout the game. It also has a simple user interface that works very well on mobile devices. As you progress through the game you will find new equipment, gain new special abilities, and unlock special cosmetic items that will change the appearance of your character. There is a lot to look forward to in this mobile game.

Dragon Bane Elite is a similar game than Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar, but it doesn’t have a professional company like Mythic Entertainment backing it up and it shows. There just isn’t as much to do in this game. There are a few quests and there are some areas to explore in the game, but nothing like what you will see in the Ultima universe.
To top it all off the game has very expensive, in-app purchases when you get towards the end of the content. Essentially you have to spend a huge amount of money to continue enjoying the game, and that’s a shame. Ultima has more to offer and doesn’t require you to break out your wallet to experience it.

If you want a very well-rounded hack and slash role playing game then Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar is the game for you. It has plenty of content to keep most players busy for hundreds of hours. Even if you have all day to play the game you won’t be getting through the entire game in a few days like some of the other options out there.
