Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a humorous game putting you in the shoes of a sketchy surgeon who has to perform a range of different medical procedures. You’ll have a mismatched set of tools, that hopefully never see the inside of a real operating room, to complete your job with.
This game plays on the idea of what the world’s worst surgeon would be like, and it gives you a set of very difficult controls to complete your procedures with. Although the game play isn’t particularly impressive, it’s a fun way to pass the time and a funny concept put into practice. While playing the game you have an array of different tools at your disposal to complete the procedure. The game shows a blood level gauge so you know how much blood is left in your patient’s body while completing the procedure. The main feature of the game that makes it so entertaining is the controls that operate the hand. The hand is a very clumsy tool that makes completing an operation successfully a real challenge. You have separate controls to turn the hand, and to grip with all the different fingers.
Surgeon Simulator is such a unique game that there aren’t many competitors out there that you could compare it to. There are a slew of online surgery simulation games, but they aren’t of the same quality level as Surgeon Simulator 2013. The graphics aren’t as good, the physics of the game aren’t as realistic either. Most of the online surgery games give you a set of basic instructions to follow along the way to completing the surgery. Surgeon Simulator only tells you the operation that you have to complete, and it is completely up to you to figure out the best way to accomplish that task.
Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a highly humorous game that is fun to play with a group of people. If you are interested in a realistic surgery game that you will actually learn from this isn’t the game for you. However, if you want a fun way to pass the time, and a challenging game, then Surgery Simulator is a great way to go. My only complaint with the game is that it isn’t very comprehensive. There are a few different types of challenges to choose from, and it is a fun novelty for a few hours, but it isn’t the game that you will be able to play for hundreds of hours without getting bored. I recommend it to anyone looking for a casual game to pass the time once in a while.
