Description
If you are looking for an opportunity to earn money while playing video games then Entropia Universe is just the game for you. This is a Massively Multiplayer Online Real cash Economy (MMORCE) game that allows you to explore and engage in quests in a sci-fi universe where your smart decisions in game play and investments pay off in real hard cash.
Features
Best of all it is a free-to-play game although you need to invest real cash to use some of its options which give you an added advantage and leverage in the gameplay. You can decide to settle in one of the game’s peaceful cities and concentrate on economical activities or delve into the hostile wilderness to battle against mutants and robots for financial rewards after successful completion of missions.
The game is officially licensed to perform financial transactions in Sweden where players can deposit or spend real money to acquire fortunes or engage in trade. The game’s currency is known as Project Entropia Dollars or PED and can be withdrawn in USD at a rate of one USD to 10 PED. Anyone can sign up to play the game free of charge but you need to invest real world cash in property which you can later sell off at a profit, just like in the real estate business.
An initial feature of the game is the player’s avatar which contains your profile information including personal and financial data. You need to register with a first name, last name, and of course a nickname. Players have to choose a planet of their choice where they begin their virtual life with a few basics such as a jumpsuit which includes a shirt and pair of pants, grey shoes, and a tool to extract sweat from other creatures.
Other free features include the use of the game’s 3D virtual chat room, sweat gathering tools which are used to collect “vibrant sweat” from other creatures and sold for extra PEDs, performing quests, and a few other activities. The free tools and items however will not be sufficient to get the best of the game. You will need to spend some in-game currency to open other additional features such as weapons as well as mining and crafting items. These resources can be purchased from fellow players or from vending machines.
The game comes with a micropayment business model in which players can use real money to purchase game items or redeem their earned PEDs in real-life US dollars at a rate of 10 PED to 1 USD.
Comparison
In comparison to other games in the market such as Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Air Rivals, and Second Life, Entropia Universe is more popular probably due to its advanced graphics and availability in several languages including French and German. It also has an amazing PvE in quests that players get rewarded after accomplishing a specific “kill”. The game also gains an advantage over the rest by its PvE in its commercial aspect where players can acquire property and items that can be sold for real world money.
Conclusion
Well, like everything else in life, you need to spend a little bit to make more money in Entropia Universe. The game allows you to create your own persona in the sci-fi universe. It pits you against other online players while exploring the magnificent civilization made of evolving planets and continents where you can claim your own piece of land and establish a new community.
The sci-fi world comes with many types of in-game institutions, entertainment establishments, and various real-life online services. Entropia Universe is highly recommended to those who love earning real money while enjoying the sci-fi world of gaming.
