To any person who works on a computer, compression and extraction are two things they cannot live without. Either a person would need to compress a file or document, or they might need to extract one. Compression helps to make files and programs smaller, neater, and portable and one that uses less space. There is a number of compressing software that is available that a person would be spoilt for choice. One such software that a person can use to deliver that objective efficiently is the TUGZip.
TUGZip has got a comprehensive compression list with an ability of extracting up to 27 archives such as the popular archives of ZIP and RAR files, while at the same time supporting archiving of disc images such as ISO, IMG, and BIN. The software is able to integrate with the outlook client and virus scanner. When it comes to compression, TUGZip works comparatively well on Excel files. The multi extract feature enables the software to support batch extraction, single file deletion and conversion of archives. The software is relatively easy to use. It has interfaces that enable access to the basic features on the fly and add, delete, rename, test compressed file and scanning for viruses. It has an inbuilt user guide and online forum through which a person can give replies, and it works impressively fast with small archives. Since the program also supports the Zip64 algorithm it is able to offer several encryption methods and tools for creating self extracting archives.
The software is similar to other compression programs since it is able to create and extract many types of archives and file formats. It also supports archiving of multiple volumes, protection of password and creation of self extracting archives. However unlike most compression software TUGZip has the most resourceful password protection with six algorithms, and it does not automatically associate itself with any particular archiving format. Instead it gives the user the option of selecting the format that they would prefer.
This is a powerful archiving utility for Windows, which works, is easy to use, and comes free.
