QuickPar is a type of computer software that deals with the repair and verification of data. It creates parity volumes using the Reed Solomon algorithm.
It is able to repair any files that are misnamed or damaged once the auto repair is ticked. It is able to split versions of the original size when creating PAR2 files. It is able to stop the user from cancelling the process unwilling by asking for confirmation by the user. It is able to automatically recognize incomplete yDec files that end with .tmp. After repair the program I able to delete the damaged file and the PAR2 files which are no longer required by the user. It is possible to create extra PAR2 files by clicking on the extra button. It is also available in 10 different languages.

The other difference between this program and other software is the ability of the software to integrate into the system and be available by right clicking on the program. The other feature that may make this program to stand out is the fact that it is available in 10 different languages this is a quality that most programs lack.

QuickPar was developed by Peter B. Clements in February 2003 but a stable version was released in July 2004. The program has remained dormant for 9 years and still there have been no new releases to the program. The software was mainly developed to function on any Microsoft operating system even for the case of 32 bit operating systems.
