Description
NirLauncher, even though it is called a launcher it’s not a typical launcher. Basically, NirLauncher is a collection of plenty of utilities packed into one installer package. This whole package is portable so that whenever needed, anyone can just carry the launcher in a flash drive and use it on different PCs. The utilities are more than 100 in number, precisely around 150. However, all of these utilities are freeware and they are separately available for download as well.
Features
All softwares listed inside the package are very small in size; it is very easy to fit the whole package into a flash drive. The package contains different types of software such as antivirus, privacy cleaners, system utilities, programing tools, password recovery tools, utilities that work based on command prompt, etc.
The package could be carried on a portable storage memory and can be used without installation on a PC. Despite of being freeware, there isn’t any harmful software like spyware or malware in the package. The package is loaded with all required software and no third party annoying programs are included. Unlike many other utility packages, it doesn’t alter your browser settings or changes your desktop background.
Using the included tools, a user can recover the passwords they have lost, or track network activities, clear the cache or manage the cookies, check what information the internet browser are using and consuming, etc. On x64 based computer, the launcher will automatically launch the 64 bit versions of the utilities, which mean no different installation is required. The best part is probably the option to add more software to the package, even other software from different developers.
Comparison
NirLauncher was one of its kinds. The utilities found in the package are available as individual software so using them from the package isn’t necessary. Anyone with access to internet can download them individually. Hiren’s Boot CD is one utility of almost the same kind but Hiren is a live operating system and starts up as one.
Conclusion
NirLauncher is the software for the power users. Users who aren’t satisfied with what the Microsoft developers provide them are always very keen to know the procedures underneath – for them this software could be of great use. Simply initiating one of these utilities could make big differences to the PC; given that the modifications and tweaks are done properly. Power users will fall in love with this software but should also be prepared about fatal system errors.
